The Very Hungry.....Ladybirds and Butterflies!

Lunch time is always a sociable occasion where the children sit together and enjoy a hot lunch. Our book of the month is The Very Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The children adore this story and have been painting with fruit and learning about fruit and vegetables. Lots of wonderful maths, language development and social skill opportunities were shown during the making of the playdough. Amy helped the children measure the amount of salt, water, vegetable oil and flower to make playdough. The children took it in turns to add, pour, mix, stir and knead the mixture.
