Our little Ladybirds and Butterflies have been keeping cool this week splashing in the water tray, playing in the shade, exploring the woods, quiet stories under the tree and singing songs. They have been talking about wild animals and looking at books with pictures of tigers, lions, monkeys, zebras and giraffes. The children loved the chunky chalks in the water and making patterns with their fingers. More mark making was going on with fingers making patterns in the paint tray and using paper to capture the colourful effects. We look forward to more fun next week!
