The Enchanted Forest

There was something magical happening in the woods on Thursday. Fairies, pixies, elves and dinosaurs were seen scurrying around making houses, splashing in the river and swashing around in a swamp! We had lots of loose parts to tinker with to help create our small world play; pebbles, petals, sticks, rocks, pine cones, shells and beads. We even had eco friendly fairy dust using buttons and sugar paper shapes.

We talked about how the woodland, the beach, the moors and the countryside are really important for nature and wildlife. To help us protect nature, we made 'Guardians of the Forest' using clay.

Children loved dressing up and we had a picnic tea in the woods to finish off our magical day.
