During our Life Skills programme, we have been learning about our five senses. The children couldn't believe their ears when they tried on some heavy duty ear defenders! We played the feely bag game for touch and the memory game for eye sight. For smell, the children passed around a variety of fragrances and learnt how to waft the smell towards their nostrils. Taste was probably the most fun and certainly the most popular activity as the children were blind folded and encouraged to taste each fruit. The children used their taste buds as they guessed banana, orange, apple and pear.
