Meet Gerald the Scarecrow

We are pleased to introduce you to our newest member of the team...Gerald the Scarecrow! The children have been creating this chap over the last few weeks. They have been busy designing, sorting through recycled objects for features, stuffing clothing with discarded packages and reusing bubble wrap. Some of the children have even been sewing on the recycled objects onto his face using wool and a long safety needle. What a fabulous life skill to learn! When asked about Gerald, the children have described him as "funny", "he has one ear", "he's a recycling man" and "He likes to make children happy."
