This week we have been getting ready for our Leavers' Party. We decided to make some fantastic bunting reusing scraps of material and petals. The children had great fun using the mallet to print the pigment onto the fabric. This required lots of hand eye coordination and spatial awareness. The bunting is beautiful and we know to plant lots of flowers for the pollinators so we only used a few sprigs.
To help keep us cool this week, we have been painting large blocks of ice. It was fascinating watching the ice melt and disappear during the day.
