Our little Ladybirds and Butterflies group, (0-2years), have been looking at sea side story books, singing and making the most impressive artwork for an 'Under the Sea' display. We just love the cute crab painted hand prints!
Dragonflies have the most amazing Tuff Tray with numbers, shells, sea creatures and lots of different textures to explore. They have taken the water tray outside and love to splash and explore.
Kindergarten's story corner is under the sea! When you sit there and enjoy a story, it feels like you're bobbing along under the sea! The children have made sea creatures recycling and reusing old bottles, bottle tops, paper and string. We think they look incredible!
Our Eco-Heroes have been learning about plastic pollution by watching a pre-recording of author Emily Hobson-Martin reading her book 'Otto's Ocean'. The children cheered as Otto saved each creature he met from the plastic pollution as he went on his travels. You can find Emily's book here: https://www.hildasplanet.co.uk/
