Bringing the Outside Inside!

We love playing outside in all weathers throughout winter! Puddle jumping, noticing the patterns of the frost and feeling the ice. However, there are those days, (particularly yellow weather warning days), where we make gigantic obstacle courses inside, ramps for the toy cars, cones, slide and even the little scuttle bikes. Great fun!
Following on the obstacle theme, the children have been making their own ramps and enjoying water play outside in the garden.
They have been sharing their ideas, working collaboratively and turn taking. Lots of laughter and giggles! Meanwhile upstairs, our little Ladybirds and Butterflies have also enjoyed physical play with the giant soft play shapes. This fun resource is excellent for the children to climb, stack, jump, stretch and roll on. This in turn aids a child's physical development including balance, core strength, coordination and motor skills.
Nursery is so much fun!
