World Book Day 2021

We love books everyday at St. Michael's! They are central to our love of learning, helps to develop language, emotional development, imagination, opens up a discussion on right & wrong, promotes brain development & also bonds a group.

Books are not just for the book corner, we love to read outside in the garden, in the woods, in the role play area and we often retell traditional tales by acting out the story, by using puppets, Makaton Signing & through songs.

Of course dressing up is also a fun way to celebrate books & the children are having a wonderful time. A link will be sent out to our families today to claim your digital £1 book token.
