We've had an amazing summer and really made the most of our large garden, playground, summerhouses and extensive forest school area. We have nurtured plants, saplings and vegetables through many a heatwave, enjoyed walks out in the community, sang songs, acted out stories, dressed up, took part in science experiments, danced, built towers, dug holes, climbed trees and enjoyed picnics.

Some of our favourite things in Forest School has been the older children learning to whittle and we even had our very own kazoo band!

Some of the older children in Forest School are well accomplished with a hammer and nails and therefore bird boxes, ramps and a doll's house was constructed. We've seen elder stick fairies being created and one little boy even made his own goggles to wear for when he's “using tools!”
