Harvest, Books and Autumn Fun

1 min read

Cooking, Story bears, scavenger hunts, games, dancing, quiet moments, den building and running races are just some of the fun things we have been enjoying recently.

Our little Ladybirds and Butterflies have been enjoying all things harvest and the farm. Lots of fun singing farm and animal songs, books, sensory tray and paintings.

Dragonflies have been enjoying their recent regular story 'Tabby McTat' by Sara Puttock. They have been out exploring the garden, enjoying the bikes, car ramps, balls and building blocks. Many of the children have enjoyed their first experience in Hedgehogs Bakery and attending Forest School for the first time.

Kindergarten have loved cooking, football and a visit from Kim the dentist to name just a few. Our recent story book bag was Julia Donalson's 'The Gruffalo'. The children made party invitations, party hats, collage characters and a Gruffalo themed lunch time. They also had a challenge in the wood to find all the Gruffalo picture.
