Christmas Carols at Oaklands Residential Home

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the residents and staff for inviting us into their home. The children sang Christmas songs from their upcoming Nativity. Many of the residents joined in and clapped along to familiar songs including 'Jingle Bells', 'Deck the Halls' and 'Away in a Manger'. One of the highlights of the afternoon was when we were requested to sing 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' - Many memories of days of old when this was a favourite at St. Michael's School - Sarah remembered all the actions!

The children made us feel so proud as they demonstrated road safety, listening to instructions, respect and compassion.
