Let's Go Fly A Kite
It's been so blustery here, what a perfect day to fly a kite! Dragonflies spent the morning making a kite using sticks, masking tape, twine and tissue paper. We also reused carrier bags to turn into kites and decorated them by gluing on shapes of coloured paper.
We enjoyed a poem and books about wind and talked about the seasons. We learnt the song 'Let's Go Fly a Kite' from the film Mary Poppins. The highlight of the morning was running around the garden pulling our kite to catch the wind.
