Kindergarten have enjoyed playing in the garden and made a giant leaf mound. Then of course it was great fun throwing all the leaves into the air!

Kindergarten made Diva lamp collages in honour of Diwali. They read a book all about a familiy celebrating the festival of lights.

We have noticed the moon and the twinkling stars in the sky. The changing of the clocks have taken a little getting used to but the cosy corners adorned with books, cushions, blankets and toys have made a good opportunity to snuggle down and enjoy some stories.

We have been talking about Bonfire night and the noises and colours of fireworks. The childen have made lots of open ended art on the sensory trays and the playground.

Forest School lit the campfire and the children talked about what a fire needs - "It needs sticks!" "Look! The stick turned black now!"
