Dragonflies have been playing with jelly in the woods and adding all the different textures to it. They have also been having fun scooping up the sand and adding giant leaves to the tray. We took the leaves back to the playroom and hid them in a tuff tray under a grid of masking tape. The children were challenged to pick up the leaves with giant tweezers to encourage and promote hand eye coordination and precision. We have a lot of apples that needed collecting fallen from the trees so the children had lots of fun filling a bucket with them. They even followed up this activity by making the most wonderful display of apple trees using paint.
