With the run up to Easter, we have been celebrating Easter, Spring and New Life. The children have had fun learning about this time of year and we have noticed the leaves and flowers growing back along with the warmth of the sunshine.
We have enjoyed many crafts including Easter decorations, willow bunny ears, daffodils made with card and tissue paper and using our woodwork skills to make little bunnies. There have been numerous colourful and creative sensory trays, designed to intrigue, investigate and explore. Whether its pouring, mixing, sorting or scooping, it's getting those little hands busy, building strength and dexterity - a key ingredient to later writing skills.
We have fabulous new musical instruments and the children have loved joining in with familiar rhyming songs.
