'Berry' Delicious Pies

Autumn is here and so is the harvest. The pinnacle of the growing season and a highlight for Hedgehogs Bakery. Dragonflies were recently invited to bake the most delicious apple, blueberry and blackberry pies. For many children that have just moved to Dragonflies from our Butterfly room upstairs, this was their first experience in Hedgehogs Bakery. Starting with the basics, there was a discussion on the importance of washing hands, preparation and how to use the utensils safely.

Emma Hedge is really proud of them; "For a lot of the group, this was their first session. They did really well. For some, the pies were too tempting and they couldn't wait for the toppings to go on!"
