Making Poppies

This year more than ever, we have taken the time to think about what is special to us and important. We encourage the children to think about things they love and enjoy doing in their world. Kindergarten have been discussing their interests and will look at the poppies and think about how happy they are when they go for a walk, go to the park, draw pictures and play football. One little girl said she enjoyed "watching the fireworks with my Mummy, my Daddy & my dolls."

The nursery building is adorned with the most fantastic display of poppies. The 0-2 years have used an apple cut in half and dipped in paint to create their posters. Dragonflies have decorated their dining room window and Kindergarten have made garlands for the porch.
