Light and Dark

With daylight hours changing, we have had fun making lanterns, looking at light and dark and also making lamps for Diwali, the Festival of Light. Children in Forest School have mixed up their own powder paint and made fire work pictures. many pumpkins have been carved and used for messy and sensory play. The look on the children's faces as they saw inside the pumpkin for the first time was pure surprise and delight. After School Club are making beautiful lanterns ready for 'Stories Under the Stars'. We love Autumn days and nights.
