First Day of Spring

Back in November, the children made our little hedgehog Spikey, a lovely warm nest made with sticks, twigs and leaves. We sang lullabies to help Spikey hibernate throughout the winter. Yesterday was the first day of Spring. We marked this occasion by waking up Spikey and helping him find some food. One little girl gave Spikey a china cup of water and a leaf!
