Butterfly Children Visit the Woods

A beautiful morning was spent in the woods with our little Butterfly children yesterday. Our theme is 'Transport' so the children found fun and muddy ways to learn about vehicles. The highlight of the morning was rolling the wheeled toys through the mud and making track prints on paper. The diggers and tractor toys dug up soil and we added water to make it especially muddy!

We also met a huge spider and sang 'Incy Wincy Spider' to him!
