The Nativity

We are so proud of our cast starring in the Nativity today at St. Paul's Church. The children did a terrific job and the singing was definitely a highlight. Thank you to all the families for attending and the costumes were also superb. More photos in our photo album.

A big thank you to Liz, Nicola, Charlotte, Donna, Sarah and everyone else that helped to organise, prep, cook, serve, clear away and generally make this lunch such a special time. After School Club children were collected from St. Peter's church in Tawstock following their Christingle service.

Christmas Carols at Oaklands Residential Home

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the residents and staff for inviting us into their home. The children sang Christmas songs from their upcoming Nativity. Many of the residents joined in and clapped along to familiar songs including 'Jingle Bells', 'Deck the Halls' and 'Away in a Manger'. One of the highlights of the afternoon was when we were requested to sing 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' - Many memories of days of old when this was a favourite at St. Michael's School - Sarah remembered all the actions! The children made us feel so proud as they demonstrated road safety, listening to instructions, respect and compassion.

A Rustic Christmas Craft!

Dragonflies have made the most wonderful, colourful Christmas trees using sticks and lots of glue! The children really enjoyed singing Christmas songs and telling us all about their Christmas trees. Kindergarten children used clay to make the shape of their reindeer and they added eyes, a button nose and twigs for antlers. Some children added larger twigs for the legs and one child even made a Christmas spider!

West Buckland - The Wizard of Oz

We would like to say an enormous thank you to Pre-Prep at West Buckland School for inviting us to watch their performance of The Wizard of Oz. We were so proud to see some of our old boys and girls performing on stage. Afterwards we enjoyed refreshments before heading back to St. Michael's in time for lunch.

Moo Music

We welcomed Sarah from Moo Music on Monday morning. The Ladybirds and Butterflies really enjoyed the session and the parachute was a big hit with the children! We look forward to Moo Music visiting again in the future.
