Our little Ladybirds & Butterflies have enjoyed a busy morning making paper butterflies using potatoes to print with. The potatoes were dug up earlier in the week during our Forest School sessions. The children had lots of fun pulling the carrots out of the tub.
The children in Forest School really enjoyed digging up the vegetables in the vegetable patch. The children were amazed when they pulled up the potato plants! One plant had six potatoes! The children then washed the vegetables and snipped the herbs in the herb garden - Basil & Mint. We then cooked up the vegetables with herb infused butter drizzled over. One child exclaimed, "this is delicious!"
Staff from the Children's Centre were warmly welcomed to St. Michael's during June to deliver their Rhyme Challenge programme. Children were invited to sing along with the team and received a free Bookstart pack.
What a fantastic Sports Day! We are so proud of all the children who took part in our Kindergarten Sports Day on Wednesday 5th July. Thank you to Petroc for hosting our event - the perfect venue. A very big thank you to the team, especially Miss Gould for organising such an entertaining and jam packed programme. Thank you to all the families that came along to support this event and congratulations to the Mummies, Daddies & Grandparents that took part in the heat!
